The author and the translator of the present volume of 221 songs of Tagore, is himself a poet, writing both in Bengali and English. He has to his credit two books of English poems – ‘Resurrection of Pain’ and ‘Redemption of Faith’ , both published by Partridge, a Penguin Random House Company.
